Swiss Extension was founded by Anil Sethi.
Anil is also the Entrepreneur-in-Residence at ETH Zurich and teaches a course on entrepreneurship.
Previously, Anil founded Flisom AG, a spin-off of ETH Zurich, focussing on commercialisation of flexible solar cells based on CIGS, where the team holds the world record for the highest efficiency. He led the company as CEO from inception in 2005 till 2012, raising multiple rounds of funding towards commercialisation. Today, the company has in excess of 70 employees and counts the Tata Group as one of the key investors.
Anil also co-founded ETH spin-off Scrona AG, which has developed print-heads used in nano-printing that can enable printing resolution one thousand times thinner than a human hair. The company previously raised CHF 250K via kickstarter and has recently closed a funding round.
Anil also cofounded ETH spin-off Spectroplast AG, which has innovated a new 3D printing technology with which any shape can be created using conventional silicone without the use of moulds. The team is able to create objects with a precision five times less than a human hair.
